Take a boat ride out to Las Isletas then chill back in town, people-watching from a street cafe.

Early departure for the border town of La Union where you’ll take a boat across the Gulf of Fonesca to arrive in Nicaragua. Transfer to the university town of Leon.
Enjoy a guided tour of Leon before travelling north to the cloudforest area of Matagalpa.
Take an early-morning bird-watching tour where – if you’re lucky – you might spot a Quetzal or a Three-Wattled Bell-Bird, both increasingly rare birds but ones local to this part of Nicaragua.
Drive on to Granada, visiting the Masaya region en route where you can soak up the atmosphere in the local market and visit a basket-weaving workshop.
Enjoy a boat ride on nearby Lake Nicaragua where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of birds and, if you’re luck, a crocodile!
Day at leisure in Granada to enjoy this charming colonial town. Options to visit nearby Mombacho Volcano, hire a bike or simply people-watch from a street café.
