Guatemala & Belize

Experience the colonial charm of Antigua – Guatemala’s former colonial capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and wander a modern-day Maya village on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Hunt for the Resplendent Quetzal, Guatemala’s national bird, in the cloud forest of Coban before turning north to visit the mother of all Maya sites – Tikal.

Travel into Belize’s Cayo District, where you’ll find Tikal’s sister city, Caracol, along with a host of smaller but no less interesting Maya archaeological sites. This area is also renown for its bird-life and for soft adventures such as cave-tubing & zip-lining. End your holiday in a beach location on Belize’s largest island, Ambergris Caye, where you can snorkel or dive the longest Barrier Reef in the northern hemisphere.
